This policy explains how information is handled on the public informational pages at www.promptivity.ai and when you contact Promptivity. Our Shop privacy notice and AI Advisor privacy notice explain the additional practices of those products, including their separate newsletter subscriptions. Promptivity LLC remains the company contact for both.
Hosted applications and private utilities can involve additional sign-in, storage, or processing. This policy's description of the public informational pages should not be read as a description of those applications. The technical information pages link to the notice for the private Search Console utility.
Visiting the main website
The public informational pages do not require an account and do not contain newsletter signup forms or checkout forms.
Cloudflare Pages hosts the website. Delivering and protecting it involves technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL, time of the request, and any referrer information your browser supplies. Cloudflare may process request, security, and network-error information. URLs can include campaign labels or other query parameters, so avoid putting private information in a URL. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The main informational pages do not use advertising pixels. Cloudflare injects a real-user monitoring (RUM) beacon into main-site pages to collect page-load and performance measurements. Cloudflare states that this beacon does not use cookies or other browser storage. See Cloudflare’s RUM privacy information.
Cookies and offline storage
The main informational pages do not set marketing or analytics cookies. The site uses a service worker to save selected public pages and assets in your browser so they can be available offline. This local cache is not a customer account or mailing list. You can remove it using your browser's site-data controls. Hosting and security processing still occurs when your browser contacts the site.
These statements do not describe cookies or storage used by other destinations you visit, newsletter providers, checkout services, or hosted applications.
Emailing us
When you email us, we receive your address, name if supplied, message, attachments, and the delivery information accompanying the email. A support request may also include a guide name, order reference, or details you choose to provide about a problem.
We use this information to respond, provide support, correct problems, and maintain the related correspondence and business records. Emailing support does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Please send only what is needed; do not send passwords, full payment-card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Our company email uses Google Workspace. Google processes email and related information to provide that service. See Google's Workspace data-processing terms and privacy information.
Customer support is manual-first. Customer messages are not automatically submitted to AI tools. With human approval, we may selectively use OpenAI tools to help review a request or prepare a response. We minimize or redact personal information where practical before using AI assistance. Information selected for review can be processed by OpenAI under the applicable service terms and account settings. See OpenAI's privacy information. Promptivity LLC remains responsible for customer communications and how it uses these tools.
Newsletters, purchases, and other destinations
The main website links to services with their own data practices:
- Promptivity Shop: signup forms send information to Brevo. The Shop notice explains the requested free resource, optional tips, subscription records, source attribution, delivery reporting, and unsubscribe choices.
- AI Advisor: its separate newsletter uses Brevo. The Advisor notice explains subscription confirmation, delivery reporting, the optional tracking choice, residual aggregate/deliverability processing, and unsubscribe controls. Subscribing to one Promptivity list does not itself subscribe you to another.
- Purchases: the Shop directs purchases and delivery through Gumroad. The main informational website does not collect payment-card details. See the Shop notice and Gumroad's privacy policy. Purchase-related correspondence you send to us is handled as described above.
- Essays and other external links: full essays and their subscriber relationship are on Substack. LinkedIn and PromptBase links also take you to separate services. Those services receive information when you use them under their own notices. Some essay links include campaign labels identifying the placement of the link; the labels in our current essay links do not contain your email address.
Service providers and sharing
Information is processed by the providers needed for the activity you choose, including Cloudflare for hosting, Google for company email, and the newsletter, checkout, or administrative providers described above. Following an external link brings that destination's practices into scope. The product-specific notices remain the place to check the details of a particular subscription or purchase.
Retention and your requests
We periodically review support correspondence for continued need. We preserve unresolved matters and records needed for legitimate business or legal purposes. Periodic review does not mean automatic deletion or a fixed deletion deadline.
Retention depends on the purpose and the service holding the record. Support correspondence, newsletter records, purchase records, hosting information, and copies retained by providers do not all have the same deletion controls or retention period. This policy does not promise a single automatic deletion deadline for all of them. The Shop and Advisor notices describe their newsletter retention practices.
Email [email protected] to ask what information Promptivity holds about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need enough information to verify that the request concerns your records. Deletion can be limited by applicable recordkeeping requirements and by records held independently by other services. You can also use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter or the privacy controls offered by the relevant provider.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date of the revision. Product notices will continue to describe their additional practices.
